Oppo RealMe 2 vs Honor 9N Comparison: Which Phone Should We Buy?
RealMe 2 was launched recently in India keeping budget segment in mind. The device has some decent features such as a dual rear camera at a budget price point. Honor is also active in the budget segment in India and they already have Honor 9N with similar price range and specs in the market. Both the devices offer value for money. So, today we are going to compare these two budget phones and check out which is better.

The RealMe 2 comes with a 6.21-inch display which is of 720p resolution and has 19:9 aspect ratio. The back of the device has a diamond cut pattern and looks stylish and unique. On the other hand, Honor 9N comes with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display and has a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display looks vibrant on Honor 9N. The back of the device is made of glass and gives a premium look and feel. However, both the device look premium.
Talking about the processing power, the RealMe 2 packs a Snapdragon 450 processor which is decent for normal usage but struggles at heavy usage and processing intensive tasks while Honor 9N also has a similar processor i.e. Kirin 659 which is good at running casual apps but struggles at heavy gaming. No comparison here as both the devices are almost equal in performance wise and packs a low-end budget processor.

The RealMe 2 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, on the other hand, Honor 9N runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Both the phones have their own custom UI. Honor 9N also has an option to hide the notch.
The RealMe 2 comes with a 13+2 MP dual rear camera setup which is good at clicking the average quality picture, don’t expect it to be marvelous at imaging. However, the Honor 9N has a good dual rear camera which is of same 13+2 MP but produces good quality pictures. I must say the camera is better in Honor 9N.
The RealMe 2 has a bigger 4,230 mAh battery which lasts around one and half day on normal usage while the Honor 9N has 3,000 mAh battery which lasts around a day. The difference in battery capacity is huge in both the devices and obviously the battery is better in RealMe 2.
Conclusion:
If you are on a tight budget and want a device for entertainment purposes then you should go for RealMe 2 as it has a bigger display and battery. If you can spend a bit extra and want a good display, a good camera and a premium looking device then Honor 9N should be your choice. However, I must say RealMe 2 also looks great.
